PC Cameron Shaw, the Community Police Officer, visited school today to talk about the role of the police in our local community.
The children were interested to learn about the different items in a police officer’s kit and even tried on his jacket. PC Shaw told them about things he does as part of his job and the children asked him questions.
They had a chance to have a look inside the police van and see all the items inside. They found out that a police van contains cones, a first aid kit, tools and even has a built-in cell!
Thank you to PC Shaw for his visit.
