Drumlemble Primary School has successfully raised funds to acquire and install an external defibrillator. This is now sited on the front of the building next to the ramp. It has settings for both adult and paediatric use.   It is important to note that this device is available for use by all members of the public in the vicinity in an emergency. The code to unlock the defibrillator casing can be  accessed by calling 999 or 112 and listening to the instructions.   Staff from the school and other members of the community attended a Defibbrillator training course run by Heartstart in anticipation of the purchase of the defibrillator.   We are very grateful to Tesco Groundwork’s and Laggan Community Council for their generous donation of funds which have made the purchase of this life-saving equipment possible.   Thanks also to Mrs Tracy McArthur for all her work in securing the necessary funds.
