The children had a very successful Sports Day today. It started with team games, with each team taking part in two rounds of 6 different events. It was great to see the encouragement that the team members gave each other. The afternoon involved the more traditional races, with the children competing in events such as the flat race and the egg and spoon race. Again it was lovely to see smiles on their faces whether they came first or not. We finished with the marathon events. Everyone agreed the children had made a fantastic effort all day.
