Lots of children dressed as their favourite book characters to celebrate World Book Day and everyone enjoyed reading related activities. We took part in a special CBBC Live Lesson, with all children from participating schools simultaneously reading together for 60 second. A ‘Footy and Booky’ quiz got the P5-7 children thinking while P1-4 made their own special book character puppets to use in story telling.
