The Parent Council will be holding a disco for all children on Thursday 24th October. The disco starts at 6:30pm until 8pm.Entry is £2.00 per child which includes a snack and a drink. Adult entry is by donation.The parent council would appreciate any baking donations.In order to provide enough catering please advise if your child will be attending the disco.
This term we are participating in Cauliflower Cards ‘Christmas Project’.
I am very pleased to advise that the Ragbag donations created 125kg worth of donated goods which raised funds of £50 for Drumlemble Primary and Pre5 unit.
Unfortuantaly not all the bags were collected on the day and we expect this amount to hopefully be doubled when those bags are collected later this month.

Our book fair comes to an end today, Tueaday 7th May. I am pleased to advise we made a total of £300, which means the school is able to choose £300 worth of books for free. What a wonderful opportunity you helped provide for our school, these books enhance our library and reading stock with some seriously brilliant books that are both relevant and entertaining for the children.
We had a wonderful Easter Service today. The school was joined by the Rev McIvor who led us in an Easter Service and prayer. We were treated to an assembly by the children who spoke about the school values and how they were incorporated into the school committees. The children then performed a song which they had written themselves discussing the School Values. The Rev McIvor had the impossible task of choosing winners from our fabulous Easter Egg Competition! I am very pleased to advise that we collected 190kg of textiles for our Ragbag fundraiser, which raised £76 for school funds. Many thanks to all who participated.
The Parent Council had a fabulous turn out for the Beetle Drive fundraising event on Thursday night RAISING £182.
Great fun was had by all with lots of prizes and delicious home baking provided by the parents.

Our Parent Council will be holding a fun family eveing playing Beetle on Thursday 14th March at 6:30pm.
There will be baking and a raffle.
Price is £1 per child and £2 for adults.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
The children are learning about water pollution and wanted to help save turtles.
The Citizenship Committee arranged for the children to take part in a sponsored silence to raise money to sponsor a turtle from the World Wildlife Fund.
This took place on Friday 1st February.
The children raised a massive £99 which exceeded their expectations and allows them to sponsor a turtle, they will receive a turtle toy which will be our school mascot and some newsletters and most importantly they will be helping to save the turtles.
