Ollie - Raising funds for McMillan and Drumlemble School

We are very proud that one of our own children took the initiative to raise funds for McMillan Cancer Support and Drumlemble Digital Committee. 

Ollie along with his Granny organised a Coffee afternoon which was held at Machrihanish Village Hall on Sunday 26th January. 

They raised well over £900!! £300 of which the school's Digital Committee will benefit directly from. 

NSPCC Wear Your Sparkle Day

The Children raised an amazing £50 for the NSPCC's Wear Your Sparkle day.  The children wore either a Christmas jumper or something sparkly and enjoyed sparkling activities throughout the day, making sparkle biscuits and sparkly cards.  Pictures of the activities can be found within our gallery.  

Christmas Concert

Disco

The Parent Council will be holding a disco for all children on Thursday 24th October.   The disco starts at 6:30pm until 8pm.Entry is £2.00 per child which includes a snack and a drink.    Adult entry is by donation.The parent council would appreciate any baking donations.In order to provide enough catering please advise if your child will be attending the disco. 

Rag Bag Results

I am very pleased to advise that the Ragbag donations created 125kg worth of donated goods which raised funds of £50 for Drumlemble Primary and Pre5 unit. 

Unfortuantaly not all the bags were collected on the day and we expect this amount to hopefully be doubled when those bags are collected later this month.

Scholastic Book Fair

Our book fair comes to an end today, Tueaday 7th May.  I am pleased to advise we made a total of £300, which means the school is able to choose £300 worth of books for free. What a wonderful opportunity you helped provide for our school,  these books enhance our library and reading stock with some seriously brilliant books that are both relevant and entertaining for the children.

Easter Eggstravaganza

We had a wonderful Easter Service today.  The school was joined by the Rev McIvor who led us in an Easter Service and prayer.  We were treated to an assembly by the children who spoke about the school values and how they were incorporated into the school committees. The children then performed a song which they had written themselves discussing the School Values. The Rev McIvor had the impossible task of choosing winners from our fabulous Easter Egg Competition!  The entries were as always amazing, so much work goes into them.  The children then headed out with parents / carers to roll thei

Rag Bag

I am very pleased to advise that we collected 190kg of textiles for our Ragbag fundraiser, which raised £76 for school funds.  Many thanks to all who participated.
