Science Open Morning

Date

We had a very successful Science Open Morning for families on the 4th day of British Science Week. There was some fossil hunting in P1/2 while the P3-7 children modified the pulleys they made earlier in the week with the help of their visitors. The Young STEM Leaders then took over, each showing a group of children how the new STEM resources can be used. They showed great leadership skills, well done to them! The morning was rounded off with some shelter building in P1-4 and a challenge to build the tallest earthquake – proof building using marshmallows, cocktail sticks and spaghetti for P5-7. We hope all our visitors enjoyed learning about  STEM activities in school.
