The whole school and ELC travelled to Saddell today to take part in various activities. Primary 5-7 visited Saddell Abbey to study the fabulous medieval carved stones which are preserved there. These stones originated from the Isle of Iona about a thousand years ago and the children were fascinated to learn of their history. They also had some time for visiting the beach, having lunch at Saddell Castle and exploring the woodland. Thanks again go to Mrs McTaggart and Mrs Robertson for accompanying us and sharing their knowledge.
