The children were excited to have a visit from Hannah Jones of The Farm Stall at Bellochantuy. The stall has become a very popular place for pumpkin picking and Hannah told the children about her pumpkin growing methods and also answered their questions. Hannah works in collaboration with Kintyre Climate Action.
Hannah also very kindly donated three pumpkins to the school so each class and the ELC will be carving their pumpkins in time for Tuesday’s Halloween party.
Hannah has also offered to return to school in Spring and will help us with our own vegetable growing projects.
Thank you very much to Hannah for her visit. We will post pictures of our carved pumpkins when completed.
