The children had a fabulous day with the Outreach team from Glasgow Science Centre. Each class was treated to a lively presentation where they learned about the workings of the human body. P1-4 learned about breathing and how blood moves oxygen around the body while the P5-7 were taken on a journey through the digestive system with some very realistic props!
Each class had a chance to investigate and explore in practical sessions – this included resources such as a heat sensor camera, computer games to test how the brain works, dna and body jigsaws as well special microscopes and working lungs!
Thank you very much to the team for an excellent day. The children all agreed deserved a 10 out of 10!
