Today Mrs Martin and Mrs McMillan led a special Outdoor Learning session, it was the first time for a campfire in our school forest. The children risk assessed the area, explained what the dangers&risks were and explained how we could all stay safe. Once the fire was lit, the children were able to toast their marshmallows and make s’mores. Three of the girls who attend the local Brownies unit, then led a campfire song for everyone to sing. A wonderful morning, which will hopefully be the first of many Forest School activities in our own forest.
