What a fantastic afternoon the children had at the ELC Sports. They took part in a beanbag race, an egg and spoon race and bounced to the finish line in the sack race. There was much excitement when the children’s teddies joined them in the running race. It was then the turn of the children’s visitors to battle it out in a closely contested adults’ egg and spoon race. The Primary 7 pupils had organised and run the ELC’s sports day and were delighted to award all the young participants with a medal and a certificate. The children then joined their visitors for some well-deserved refreshments. Thank you to everyone who attended today and made this such a happy occasion for the children.
