The ELC, Primary 1 and Primary 2 watched some Jojo the Gnome clips. They decided to create their own version of Jojo Gnome’s Birthday, where they had to guess what was inside Jojo Gnomes 10 birthday presents. This involved lots of counting to and from 10. Throughout the week they also looked at different shapes and their favourite activity was definitely making bubble wands using different shapes. The wands with a circle definitely worked the best. They managed to blow some huge bubbles! Primary 3 and 4 got creative by making doodles out of the. numbers 1 – 9. They were also given the challenge of building the numbers from Lego. They then had to use their Lego numbers to answer +, -, x and ÷ sums. Article 20: Children have the right to an education which develops their personalities and abilities.
