A big thank you to Generation Science who visited us this morning to deliver fun and engaging hands on science activities. The children loved their role as scientists and all commented positively on this wonderful experience. They were given the challenge of using an indicator to identify whether liquids were neutral, acids or alkaline and then used their knowledge of this to create chemical reactions in different experiments covering colours, various other changes and solutions. The highlight of the show was obviously when there were some ‘bangs’, ‘fizzing’ and ‘pops’. What a brilliant experience for our budding young scientists.
