Argyll and Bute - Name a Gritter Competition

PUPILS at Drumelmble Primary school have entered a competition to help choose the names of four gritters to be used on Argyll and Bute’s roads this winter.All the area’s primary schools were invited to think up names for four gritters to mark the arrival of 17 new winter maintenance vehicles in the council’s fleet.The naming competition closed last week, and the council says it now has to set up a judging panel to choose the winners.The best names will be displayed on a plate on the side of the vehicles.Our names are  IC4Jack Frost ShimmerSnow ConeWe are very hopefull but know whoever wins

Virtual Games 2019

Hello, The results have now been counted and I am delighted to announce the following results of the P1 – P3 Virtual Games Competition: Winners:              Drumlemble P.s – ‘The Champs’, 155pts.Runner’s Up:     Dalintober P.s – ‘The All Stars’, 145pts. The competition was very closely contested, with 17 teams across 7 schools taking part in South Kintyre, a great response from all schools!  A big well done to all of the pupils and staff who continue to support the Virtual Games, it seems to be a very healthy and well liked competition!The P6 – P7 Virtual Games competition kicks off next w

Baldy Cup 2018

Drumlemble will be taking part in the Baldy Cup at the All Weather Pitch in Campbeltown tonight.    Team members should arrive for 5:45pm kick off is at 6pm.  Spectators will be very welcome. 

Robert Burns Poetry Competition

As part of our Robert Burns Celebrations we are running a poetry competition in school from P1 - 7.

The children will be judged by a panel of judges on the following:- Physical Presence, Voice and Articulation, Dramatic Appropriateness, Eye Contact and Overall Performance.

The children have been working hard on their performances so it should be an excellent afternoon.

The event will take place on Thursday 25th January at 1:15pm.
