Dear Parents / Carers.
Home Learning – ‘Handed in’
I hope your child is enjoying the tasks set in Google Classroom.
We are keen to know both how much children are engaging in online learning and that we are keeping in regular contact with you and your children, and would like to ask if you could help us in that respect.
If you or your child uploads a document, photograph or video, and clicks on ‘Handed in’, your child’s teacher can see that they have completed a task and can acknowledge this or give feedback. However, we understand that uploading isn’t always possible. So, I would like to ask that you and/or your child clicks on ‘Handed in’, if they have completed or attempted a task, even if they haven’t submitted a document, photo or video. That will allow us to track everyone’s engagement. Again, this will not be to put pressure on you as a family, but will be one way of helping us to know that we are keeping in contact and are all working together to support our children at this time.
If you are having trouble accessing a device that has internet access and that Google Classroom works on, please let us know, so that we can look into whether we can provide a suitable device for you.
If you have any questions about this or any other aspect of school or home learning, please do not hesitate to contact me.
