The P5 - 7s joined Carradale Primary School for a joint Animation Workshop given by Aardman Senior Model Maker Jim Parkyn. Children from the school had the amazing opportunity to create their own character from Aardman's Shaun the Sheet - using clay and cocktail sticks. Jim's easy to follow instructions gave the young people a look at the different uses of engineering skills, geometry and storytelling techniques that all combine to create Aardman's many masterpieces, including Chicken Run and the Wallace & Gromit films. It's amazing! That all the pupils here were able to create a potential walking, talking character ready for animation out of two lumps of clay is truly incredibleCheck our our Gallery for some pictures of the children creating their own Shaun the Sheep.
