‘Dear Parent,
If you’d like to get the families bikes ready for autumn cycling, there are 12 slots available on Tuesday 4th October for free bike repairs up to a value of fifty pounds for each household member, as part of the Scottish Cycle Repair Scheme. Slots are bookable in advance of the day, anyone interested in a slot can email Fiona at the school. Slots are on a first come, first served basis. The school will then confirm if you have a slot or are on a waiting list by return email. Anyone on a waiting list, can bring their bike along for a health check, and get a diagnosis of what parts/repairs are needed. Please bring the bikes along to Drumlemble School drop off and they will be available for collection from 3:
30pm. If there is enough demand on the waiting list; we may repeat the event soon. Participants will be asked for the bike owners name, email address and a postcode for the schemes recording and evaluation purposes.’
